About Lee Ransaw
Lee Ransaw teaches art and art education at Morris Brown College and Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. Ransaw's artistic background included courses at Pratt Institute in New York and John Herron Art Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lee has received both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Art from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. Among his many honors and awards are The Distinguished UNCF Scholars Award in Washingon, DC., The Rockfeller Foundation Fellowship to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, The Ford Foundation Fellowship, and a Bronze Jubilee Award for artistic achievement given by PBS in Atlanta.
